Why IoT?

Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming ubiquitous with edge sensor nodes getting more and more intelligent and capable to transmit their information directly to a cloud and also get controlled /actuated from the cloud. Made up of millions of sensors and devices that generate unending streams of data, IoT is useful to improve our lives and our businesses in a lot of ways. You can explore many real-life examples of IoT devices that are commercially available, and you will have a glimpse of the future of the Internet of Things. This course will help you to gain adequate knowledge on the Internet of Things. You will learn various IoT platforms available such as AWS IoT, IFTTT, PubNub, Blynk and also gets hands-on exposure on various IoT hardware platforms such as Node MCU, Raspberry Pi, and MSP430 etc.

  • Hands on Arduino fundamentals of C programming, about Arduino IDE.
  • NODE MCU platform, Value Line Architecture, features and peripherals.
  • Sensor data acquisition using PubNub server.
  • Introduction to Google Assistant in Raspberry pi.
  • Configuring Raspberry pi for Google Assistant Packages.
  • Making a Google Assistant Robot with Voice chat.
  • Controlling a Google Assistant Robot with hot word.
  • Introduction to Blynk APP for ios and android.
  • Configuring Raspberry pi using PiBlynk Library
  • Electronic and electrical units using Arduino, Wi-Fi and web browser.
